Dr. Randy Pausch dies today, at 47
For those who doesn’t know who Randy Pausch is, please watch the video below in its entirety. Randy Pausch is a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University, the world-renowned institution of science and technology. Dr. Pausch became a YouTube phenomenon after the inspirational video of his famous “The Last Lecture” speech was viewed by millions of people around the world.
He shared his insights on finding the good in other people, working hard to overcome obstacles and living generously. “If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself,” Pausch said. “The dreams will come to you.”
He testified before Congress, urging them to provide more fund for research on pancreatic cancer. During a segment of the testimonial video, he said he would trade pancreatic cancer for AIDS in a heartbeat; to illustrate how deadly this disease is. Dr. Randy Pausch passed away today at age 47.
